Jessica Moorhouse started the Millennial Money Meetup in September 2016 as a way to take the conversation offline, create a community of people who want to learn more about money, & most of all have fun!
This ain't no dry lecture about the merits of compound interest. This is a one-of-a-kind event to mix, mingle and learn about the latest hot money topics millennials want to know more about right now.
For Jessica's next event, taking place on Tuesday, May 23, she'll be joined by a panel of experts to discuss the current housing market, what millennials need to know before diving into homeownership and strategies to get the right mortgage for the best rate.
This event will also include free drinks, appetizers, a Meridian swag bag ($35 value), plus a chance to win a $500 Homesense gift card, thanks to our event sponsor Meridian Credit Union, Ontario's largest credit union.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm so you can check-in, grab a free drink and chat with other like-minded attendees who want to learn more about housing and real estate. The panel discussion will start at 7 pm, followed by a Q&A period from the audience. Once the panel has wrapped up, feel free to stick around to network and chat with our line-up of panelists to learn even more.

Thanks to this event's wonderful sponsor Meridian Credit Union, this event is absolutely free to attend! Just make sure to grab your ticket before they're all gone. The last event sold out within only 2 weeks.
Nope! Casual attire is what most people will be wearing, but if you're coming straight from the office after work, come as you are!
You can if you want, but we'll have a guest list and someone checking everyone in at the door.
That's right, all attendees get one free drink from the bar. Make sure to bring proper photo ID as our bartenders will be requesting ID for anyone who looks younger than the legal limit. But don't worry, we'll also have a selection of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from as well.
If you're transitting, the venue is right near Bathurst subway station. If you're driving, there are a number of pay parking lots in the area.
